McKenna Grace surprised me with her look at the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre. I’ve watched her evolve on the red carpets over the years, and this was one of those times she fully leaned into a sultry, grown-up direction.
Part of me still does a double-take, recalling the kid we first met on TV. Still, I loved that she didn’t shy away from the moment and walked the red carpet with confidence!

McKenna plays Lisa, a paranormal activity hunter, in the sequel to the 2023 film adaptation. The movie picks up a year later, following Abby Schmidt (Piper Rubio) and her brother Mike (Josh Hutcherson) as they’re pulled back into Freddy Fazbear’s cursed pizzeria. Abby’s desire to reconnect with her animatronic friends brings her, and everyone else, into new horrors involving the major antagonist Marionette, a puppet-like animatronic.
McKenna showing up to the premiere in something a little ghostly, a little ethereal, and a little daring seemed perfect! Let’s take a closer look at her outfit.
A Grown-Up Turn in David Koma’s Sculptural Lace
McKenna’s dress came from David Koma’s Resort 2026 collection, and it fit right into his signature aesthetic. Koma is known for his sculptural, body-conscious silhouettes that blur the line between couture and lingerie, and this dress did exactly that.
Made from white lace, the dress featured strategic cutouts, one under the bust and one at the midriff, offering glimpses of McKenna’s skin. It included built-in bra cups and a mini A-line skirt, giving it a youthful, flirty silhouette. The original version featured completely sheer cups and a skirt, but McKenna opted for lined versions that kept things somewhat modest.
The straps were one of my favorite elements. Thin laces crisscrossed around McKenna Grace’s neck and seemed to come from the bow at the bust. It created this delicate frame around her collarbones and shoulders, adding softness to an otherwise bold silhouette.

To enhance the sultry lingerie vibe, McKenna added lace garter stockings that perfectly matched the dress. They were sheer, feminine, and topped with 3D floral appliqués that sat right at the thigh. I loved how romantic and theatrical it was at the same time.
Honestly, the whole look gave me a bit of Sabrina Carpenter energy. It was something the pop singer would wear but take in an even sultrier direction.
Soft, Romantic Glam That Balances Her Bold New Direction
McKenna’s glam tied everything together beautifully. She has naturally delicate features, and she enhanced those with soft pink makeup and a touch of smoky eyeshadow to bring out her blue eyes. Her long blonde hair fell in bouncy Old-Hollywood waves, with one side cascading down one shoulder, adding movement and softness to balance the daring outfit.
She added a pop of color with red nails and accessorized with sparkling rings and earrings by Kat Kim. The jewelry was minimal to let the dress remain the star.

A Sophisticated Step Forward in Crystal-Lined Betzábe Pumps
McKenna completed her all-white ensemble with a pair of Betzábe “Eva” pumps. They were simple at first glance, but with a twist once you look closer.
Betzábe often blends traditional Mexican craftsmanship with modern designs. It’s known for its bold colors, crystal accents, and unexpected touches that add personality even to the simplest silhouettes. And these Italy-made pumps reflected that blend.
They featured pointed toes, a clean slingback strap, and modest 3-inch heels. What made them unique was the row of crystals lining the insole at the heel. It wasn’t loud or flashy; just a subtle bit of sparkle that echoed the romantic lace of McKenna’s dress.

Earlier this year, Gabrielle Union also embraced Betzábe’s signature sparkle, wearing a pair of crystal-embellished sandals with her shimmery gown at The Fashion Trust U.S. Awards 2025.
Seeing both Union and Grace gravitate toward the brand within the same year underscores Betzábe’s rising influence on A-list red-carpet footwear—especially for stars who want something glamorous yet subtly unexpected.
From Child Star Charm to Confident Fashion Risk-Taker
Seeing McKenna in such a daring lace-and-crystal look feels like a defining moment. The soft, playful style she was once known for hasn’t disappeared—it’s simply grown up with her.
Each new appearance reveals a more confident, expressive version of herself, and this premiere outfit makes that evolution unmistakable.
