Mckenna Grace is reprising her role as Phoebe Spengler in the upcoming supernatural comedy film Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. On Thursday, she led the glamour in a strapless red Marchesa gown at the premiere of the fifth film in the Ghostbusters franchise at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater.
Mckenna Grace, the adorable little girl we loved in the 2017 drama film Gifted, starring Chris Evans, has grown into a fine young lady who is now grabbing everyone’s attention with her stunning looks and sense of style.
I couldn’t help but be mesmerized by how gorgeous she looked at the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire premiere. And it’s not just me; all eyes were on the young actress as she showed up in a beautiful red gown—a far cry from her awkward science nerd character in the Ghostbusters movie.

Looking every inch the prom queen, the Captain Marvel actress dazzled in a strapless red gown, which, for me, is a work of art from the Marchesa Fall 2024 Couture collection.
The exquisite gown, crafted from soft silk faille, features a flattering fitted bodice with a strapless neckline and minimal ruching to provide some texture. It transitions into a voluminous ball gown skirt, wrapping the actress in soft petals, with a sizeable sculpted rose on one side.
Completing the billowing gown’s striking design is the dramatic sweeping train and the daring thigh-high slit. I am particularly enamored with the vibrant red color, which complements her fair complexion, making her look even more radiant.

Sophistication from Head to Toe
Sarah Slutsky Tooley, whose clients include Rachel McAdams, Rachel Zegler, and Ella Hunt, put together Mckennan’s Ghostbusters premiere look. I admire her choice of keeping Mckennan’s neck bare, accessorizing her with minimal jewelry from Gray & Davis, including a pair of earrings and a few rings for a dash of sparkle.
She elegantly teamed the red gown with the black satin Aquazzura “So High Plateau” pumps, which increased her 5’0” height by several inches and kept her from being swamped by her voluminous dress.
I love the silhouette of these pumps; it’s feminine with its rounded toes and slim ankle straps, yet sturdy with 5.5-inch block heels and 1.5-inch platforms. For $975 at Net-a-Porter, these pumps are crafted in Italy from lustrous satin and have lightly cushioned insoles for extra comfort.

Timeless Beauty for a Timeless Star
As for her glam, Kale Teter decided to give Mckenna a timeless appearance by matching her outfit with a rosy blush and a bold red lip color. He used mascara, false eyelashes, and a hint of red eyeshadow to draw attention to her blue eyes.
Meanwhile, Christopher Naselli styled the actress’ blonde hair with softly curled ends and curtain bangs. I appreciate how her glam team created a timeless look that suited the classic elegance of her gown.

Transitioning to After-Party Chic
Following the premiere of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Mckenna attended the after-party at Legacy Records.
Sporting the same glam, the young star chose a sultry black look, wearing a slinky black dress with a hint of cleavage. It had a low-cut scoop neckline, secured by slim spaghetti straps, and a buckled belt that accentuated her waist.
A pair of open-toe black heels rounded out her after-party attire.

Daytime Promo Look: Youthful and Understated
That same day, Mckenna Grace showed a more youthful look, layering a nude mini dress over a black turtleneck long-sleeved top.
Her understated outfit was styled with a matching slim tan leather belt, highlighting her waist, finished with black patent pointy pumps for a cohesive look.

The ensemble is appropriate for Mckenna’s age, but I’m not particularly drawn to it. I find it unappealing, maybe because of the color or the styling.
I do, however, appreciate her glam. Her blonde hair was in a half-up, half-down ponytail, with beautiful curls gracefully cascading over her shoulders. Her eyes were accentuated with delicately blended smokey eyeshadow and mascara.
