While their recent trip to England didn’t end on the best note, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have accepted an invitation from Queen Elizabeth to spend some time at Balmoral Castle, a large estate house owned by Harry’s grandmother, in Scotland this summer.

They are planning to bring Archie with them if the coronavirus pandemic calms down. When returning to the United Kingdom earlier this month to attend events in London, they left their son Archie, 10 months, back at home in Canada amid fears of coronavirus.

The Duke and Duchess are now back in Canada with Archie. According to People, they were “FaceTiming with him every day,” while they were away.

Sunday Times reports that the royal Kardashians “are believed to have accepted the Queen’s invitation to visit her this summer at Balmoral, her Scottish retreat, and are planning to take their son with them.”

They are also expected to spend some time with Harry’s father, Prince Charles, and stepmother, Duchess Camilla, during the trip. Do you think Will and Kate will join them as well?

“Harry, Meghan, and Archie will always be much-loved members of my family,” the British monarch wrote in a statement earlier this year.

A source told US Weekly: “[The Queen is] heartbroken over the thought of not getting to see her great-grandson.”

“The Queen would love to have a relationship with Archie, but it’s looking unlikely that will ever happen.”

The source added: “She’s trying to stay optimistic about this situation and would never stoop to casting any aspersions on Meghan’s character – even after everything that’s happened.”
