When it comes to red carpets, Money Train actress Jennifer Lopez knows how to shine. In the case of the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton, quite literally!
In January 2016, the “American Idol” judge was decked in more than 200 carats worth of Harry Winston diamonds, including a 46.95-carat diamond wreath necklace.

When did Jennifer Lopez start acting?
Her first major film role was her portrayal of decoy transit officer Grace Santiago in the 1995 motion picture Money Train, alongside Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson.

A box office bomb, the film was released on November 22, 1995, when Jennifer Lopez was 26-years-old. While the movie was set in New York City, it was primarily filmed in Los Angeles in early 1995 when Lopez was still 25.
Born on July 24, 1969, in Castle Hill, New York, she turned 26 on July 24, 1995.

At the Golden Globe Awards, Jennifer wore a yellow Giambattista Valli Couture gown from the Fall 2015 collection that featured a cape-style shoulder and thigh-high slit.

Though the gown was relatively simple (in terms of sparkle), the rest of her ensemble was not.

Aside from the necklace, ring, earrings, and bracelet, the “Shades of Blue” star accessorized with a shiny Judith Leiber Couture crystal clutch and embellished Jimmy Choo half d’Orsay pumps. She even wore a diamond anklet!

Her exact pair of shoes are not available online, but here is another sparkly pair from Jimmy Choo that you can buy at Nordstrom and Farfetch:

This look is not the typical sexy siren style we usually see on J. Lo.
She was a lot more covered up for the event and even opted against her signature bronzed makeup look. Perhaps these are signs of her embracing her maturity?
