In June 2016, Ninja Assassin actress Naomie Harris made an appearance at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin to check out five of the show’s up-and-coming designers.

Seven years earlier, she starred as Mika Coretti, a Europol agent, in the 2009 neo-noir martial arts film Ninja Assassin.
During the scene where Europol agent Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) gets back into her car in the warehouse parking garage and the Ninjas start attacking, she starts the car by pushing the start button.
The tachometer swings to the right and appears to rev up, prompting the sound effects man to add a revving engine noise. However, the tachometer moving to the right is a normal test at start up and does not indicate an increase in engine speed.

When Ninja Assassin premiered in theaters across the United States on November 25, 2009, Naomie Harris was 33 years old. She celebrated her 33rd birthday on September 6, 2009.
Naomie Harris cited several reasons for her decision to star in the 2009 neo-noir martial arts film, including her desire to work with V for Vendetta director James McTeigue and her appreciation for the well-written script.
She found her character to be well-rounded and relatable, which is important in action movies where audiences want to care about the central characters and their journey.
A disappointment at the box office, it’s unlikely that Ninja Assasin will get a sequel. While some critics appreciated the genre’s revival, the movie was criticized for its lack of originality.

Even though the actress was in Berlin, she decided to go with the tried-and-tested Victoria Beckham for her purple lace-accented mustard-colored dress.
The yellowish-orange sleeveless dress hit just below Naomie’s knees and featured a bright purple embroidered design on one shoulder.
Naomie accessorized her look with Monica Vinader jewelry, a rectangular clutch by Edie Parker, and a pair of Stuart Weitzman “Nudist” sandals in violet goosebump leather.

Even though Naomie didn’t reach out to a German designer for her look, she expressed her genuine excitement over the up-and-coming Berlin designers.

The Moonlight actress even said she was looking forward to wearing some of the designs in the future.
