Not only was her gown spectacular but the color was custom designed especially for her. “I really wanted to wear blue, so they made this color,” she told Laverne Cox. “I love the color.”

We loved the intricate Harry Winston diamond choker which accentuated the butterfly-winged neckline design of her dusty blue gown.
The look was finished off with a signature updo and simple make-up bar her that classic red lipstick she manages to pull off with such ease. We must say that Nicole’s stylist, Julia von Boehm has outdone herself this year.

While it’s not the most sophisticated outfit she has ever worn, we thought it was playful enough and perfect for the premiere of the movie, which is based on a children’s literature character created by Michael Bond, Paddington Bear.
