We showed you some cool Memorial Day weekend outfits, but Gwen Stefani had a different idea for hers. Always the rockstar mama, Gwen’s punk-fab look at Joel Silver’s annual Memorial Day party was chill but chic and copy-worthy!

Gwen used a comfy striped long-sleeve tee as her base, and what looked to be regular black skinny jeans were actually overalls with the top part worn down.
We think that’s a cool way of styling overalls—wearing them down gives them a grungy “I just threw these on” vibe. But as a mother to a new three-month-old baby, Gwen also needs to be practical so that the top part can be pulled up to cover any baby spit-up stains, just in case!
