Paloma Faith has mentioned her height as 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm), although she once claimed to be 5 feet 4 inches in The Guardian. Her stated height is below average for English women, around 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm).

This slight difference from the average height likely contributes to her preference for high heels, which she admits to wearing frequently, except at home.

In addition to expressing dissatisfaction with her height of 5 feet 4 inches, she opposes cosmetic surgery for aesthetic reasons, influenced by her mother’s cancer-related surgery.

I’m not happy with my height – I’m 5ft 4in – which is why I wear stilettos. I’d never have surgery. My mum had cancer and had to have her breast operated on, and I don’t know why people do that out of choice when they haven’t even got an illness. It’s horrible. People argue, “Oh it’s because I felt so bad about myself.” The thing is, we all have those feelings. I have days when I’m like, “Oh my God, I’m flat-chested and I’ve a massive bum – I’m like a pear.” But I think we need to get perspective and realise that what makes us beautiful on a physical level is probably an irregularity. You get what you’re given and I don’t think being conventionally beautiful is a good thing to aim for.

Paloma Faith wears US size 7.5 shoes, which correspond to a UK size 5.5 and an EU size 38.

Paloma Faith Radiates Sicilian Charm in Dolce & Gabbana at NYC Flagship Opening

In May 2013, Paloma Faith showed her love for Dolce & Gabbana when she graced the fashion label’s flagship store opening in a look straight from its Spring 2013 runway.

The British singer wore one of the brand’s Sicilian-inspired print dresses paired with signature painted raffia and crochet wedges.

She even styled her hair like that of the runway models with a silk headscarf and accessorized with a funky shoulder bag from the same collection. Paloma added her touch with a nude belt at the waist. The belt doesn’t seem necessary, but it didn’t detract from the outfit.

The Dolce & Gabbana label is known for vivid prints and playful craftwork. These shoes are no exception. They don’t lack flair or personality.

Even if they are a bit out there, the hand-painted wedges are artistically beautiful. Plus, Paloma wore them with confidence, and we love that.

The whimsical design of these designer wedges calls for a hefty price tag. But, hey, it’s couture Dolce & Gabbana. Would you expect any less?
