The world premiere of “Zoolander No. 2” turned out to be a fashion week warm-up, and a lot of it was thanks to Penélope Cruz.
Fictional fashion world’s fiercest duo, Derek Zoolander and Hansel McDonald, strutted their stuff on the purple carpet at the former home of New York Fashion Week, Lincoln Center.

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson were in character as they rocked the iconic Blue Steel pose. They were also joined by Derek’s love interest, Valentina — played by Penelope.

As part of the premiere-turned-fashion show, the 41-year-old actress gave the models a run for their money wearing not one, but two outfits by both Valentino and Balmain.

Penelope first walked the runway in an embroidered denim playsuit by Valentino paired with a quarter-sleeved black top.

She steered clear of accessories but finished the fun ensemble with a pair of black thigh-high stiletto boots.

Penelope looked fierce in the outfit alone, but her long tousled curls and edgy makeup upped the ante!

Her racy slouch suede boots feature pointed toes and about five-inch marbled heels.

Later at the premiere, the Spanish beauty ensured all eyes remained on her as she traded her dungarees for a spectacular floor-length gown by Balmain.

The heavily-embellished dress hugged her famous curves in all the right places. It featured a halter neck, a sexy open back, and a small sweeping train.

Penelope further glammed up her look with a pair of emerald drop earrings and a couple of rings. She wore her hair down in retro-glam curls to finish off her breathtaking look.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t clearly see what she wore on her feet, but they were reportedly a pair of Brian Atwood sandals.

High-profile professional models like Gigi Hadid and Stella Maxwell also attended the premiere and walked the runway in spring looks by designers featured in the movie, including Valentino, Tommy Hilfiger, Alexander Wang, and Marc Jacobs.
