It’s no secret that Pixie Lott likes girly ensembles, especially those with a vintage (the ’50s or ’60s) vibe to it. She also has no reservations wearing colors that are otherwise best suited for girls younger than 13.
To prove our point, take a look at her outfit at the 10th Anniversary Party of Fashion Fringe:

The 22-year-old British singer looked like walking cotton candy in her pink blazer and pink shorts attire that she teamed up with a pink gingham backpack, metallic pink pumps, and a white turtle-neck top.

We’ve been eyeing the pink outerwear trend ever since seeing it on numerous fashion bloggers. But do you like Pixie’s take on the trend? Is it too cute or too much?
We like the upper part — with the adorable cropped jacket and turtleneck top. The bottom part leaves something to be desired. The fur-lined shorts look tacky at best.
Don’t get me started on the bag. It’s cute and all, but it looks like the pop singer borrowed it from an unsuspecting kid. And those shoes are off. We thought she would have looked better with a pair of pink cropped trousers and a pair of white pumps.
Any thoughts, ladies? Do you like her outfit? Would you wear an all-pink ensemble?

Pink is a cute trend and something worth trying. It is something new, and it is fun to watch grown-ups warm up to the color. But to make it work in this day and age, tone it down a bit with more mature pieces.
