She rose to prominence as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony. But after the group’s indefinite hiatus in 2018, Normani has quickly managed to make a name for herself as a solo artist.

Before the announcement that the Fifth Harmony members are going their separate ways, Normani started preparing for her solo career with the release of Love Lies, a song recorded with American singer-songwriter Khalid for the film Love, Simon.

The 23-year-old singer then released several duets with various artists, including Sam Smith, 6lack, and Calvin Harris. She also joined Ariana Grande on the first leg of The Sweetener World Tour, while working on her debut studio album.
Earlier this year, Normani achieved a remarkable feat as she was featured on the cover of Billboard Magazine’s January issue (available at Amazon).

In August, she was awarded Best R&B Video for her song, Waves, with 6lack, making it her first MTV VMA win. At the awards show, she also performed her new single, Motivation, which was her first solo single without a featured artist.

Just a month later, Normani stole the show at Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty presentation held during New York Fashion Week. Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Joan Smalls, and Cara Delevingne ruled the catwalk, but Normani blew everyone away with her steamy moves while clad in Savage X Fenty.
She then caught Rihanna’s eyes, who had nothing but praises for the singer.
Rihanna was so impressed that she, later on, asked Normani to be the first-ever brand ambassador for Savage X Fenty.
Normani took to Instagram to share the good news with her followers. She posted a series of sexy photos of herself wearing a red bra, matching underwear, and a pair of red stockings from the lingerie line, captioned: “I’m the first-ever brand ambassador for @savagexfenty♥️♥️♥️♥️✨ !!! I love you @badgalriri.”
She added, “I want all individuals to feel empowered and to embrace who they truly are. I don’t always wake up feeling the most confident and powerful, but trust and believe having my Savage X on always helps!!”

On the official website of Savage X Fenty, Rihanna made a short statement on why she chose the singer for her lingerie label.
“Normani is the perfect choice for a Savage X Ambassador. She exudes confidence and power. Everything she does is executed with passion and the belief she’s going to kill it. That’s why people gravitate toward her.”
Proving her worth as a lingerie ambassador, Normani showed off her figure while posing on the red carpet at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball 2019 in Los Angeles last week.

The former Fifth Harmony member wore a green sheer mesh mini dress from the Australian fashion brand, I.Am.Gia. The ruched bodycon features floral vine and snake prints, a high collar, long sleeves, and a thigh-grazing hem.

She wore her curled hair in a half ponytail style with extensions and applied coordinating green smoky eye-makeup with nude lip gloss.

For her accessories, she wore a huge pair of Jennifer Fisher hoop earrings and slipped into a pair of metallic silver Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Normani also took to the stage to perform some of her latest hits. She looked hot in a white embellished turtleneck bodysuit with matching chaps.

She wore the same look two days later when she performed at the 2019 B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash in Chicago.
