Red magazine has brought together a number of inspiring women from different walks of life for the Seventh Annual Red Women of the Year Awards, in partnership with Clinique, held at the Skylon Bar in London’s Southbank on Monday last week.

One of the presenters at the event, which celebrated the achievements of “some of the most inspiring women of our time,” was Serbian fashion designer Roksanda Ilincic. Showcasing her designing prowess, she became her own model as she wore an edgy dress from her spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection. It’s a strapless black midi dress featuring a sheer overlay with black embroideries and electric blue trims that seem to illuminate the entire frock. Giving it some added pop of electric hues, she accessorized with a pinkish orange belt with a silver metal panel detail and a pair of multicolored sandals.

The London-based designer wore a pair of sandals from her collaborative collection with Nicholas Kirkwood. These architecturally designed shoes feature wide straps in blue suede, neon pink patent, and mint green leather with mirrored toes and about 4 inch curved heels in high-fiber mesh fabric.

These sandals are available in a different color version at Browns.
