After keeping their son’s name under wraps for a year, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have finally revealed it. According to a copy of the baby’s birth certificate shared by The Daily Mail, his full name is RZA Athelston Mayers.
The name appears to be a tribute to Wu-Tang Clan member RZA, whose real name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs and is pronounced “Rizza.”
The baby’s middle name, Athelston, is the same as his father Rocky’s. The birth certificate also confirms that RZA was born on May 13, 2022.
Rihanna had previously hinted at her baby’s name when she was spotted carrying little RZA while wearing a Wu-Tang Clan shirt on April 5. She was also photographed in August 2022 wearing an RZA tee.
