Zazie Beetz joined couple Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix on the green carpet at the Joker premiere held at the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX in Hollywood on Saturday evening.

Zaz, who charmed audiences as the inhumanely lucky Domino in Deadpool 2, risked a wardrobe malfunction in a Christopher Kane Fall 2019 lace-and-crystal-mesh dress. She bared legs, thighs, and side butt in the split-to-the-hipbone design.

What kept the German-American actress from popping out of her side-butt dress was the nude panel lining the black lace. It most likely doubled as underwear.

We’re sure the lining made things more comfortable for Zazie, but we wish it was in a hue that was closer to her skin tone.

Below is a picture of Nicole Kidman wearing the same dress to the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards earlier this year.

While the 52-year-old Australian actress did dare to go without nude lining, she decided to keep the double side splits sewn shut.

We kind of fell in love with the Alexandre Birman ‘Clarita’ bow sandals Nicole wore with the dress, so we’re lukewarm towards Zazie’s Gianvito Rossi ‘Manhattan’ sandals.

Still, we can’t deny that the ‘Manhattan’ sandals are still an ultimate 24/7 style for summer.
