Jaimie Alexander is no stranger to performing in action-packed scenes. Since the actress portrayed a warrior in “Thor,” we imagine she wasn’t phased one bit when she was cast in another butt-kicking role for NBC’s “Blindspot.”

What she did have to adjust to, however, were the massive tattoos that she had to put on for the show.

Jaimie said the trick behind the semi-permanent tattoos is to keep them on as long as possible since the remover can mess up the skin. The 32-year-old also let us in on a little behind-the-scenes tip.

Since the show is currently set in the winter months, her tattoos take around 20 minutes to do. Summer, however, is an entirely different story.
