Dune, one of the most anticipated movies of the year, premiered at the 78th Venice International Film Festival on September 3, 2021. As the cast made their rounds promoting the sci-fi epic, one detail caught everyone’s attention: the height of its star, Timothée Chalamet, the American heartthrob.

Fans started wondering how tall Timothée is after seeing the results of photoshoots conducted with co-star Zendaya. The “One & Two” actor claims to be 5′ 10″ (177.8 cm).
Timothée Chalamet’s Height: Is He Really 5’10”?
Entertainment Weekly conducted the photo shoot that sparked the entire controversy. It featured Zendaya and Timothée posing together.
While both Timothée and Zendaya claim to be the same height—5’10″—Zendaya appeared several inches shorter than Timothée in the photo. To further complicate things, Zendaya wasn’t wearing shoes for the photo shoot.

Timothée’s IMDb biography lists his height at 5’10” (1.78m), but other online sources vary—some claim the actor is as short as 5’9”, and some claim he is as tall as 6’1”.
The famed actor claims to be the same height as Zendaya and Megan Thee Stallion despite the image that this Dune photoshoot portrays.
To complicate matters further, photos from the “Dune” special screening make it appear that Timothée is the same height as a high-heel-clad Zendaya.

After the “Dune” screening and Entertainment Weekly photoshoot, fans took to social media to discuss the height differences. Some claimed that Timothée is several inches taller than Zendaya.
On the other hand, some argued that Timothée was wearing elevator shoes to give him an extra couple of inches of height, bringing him level with Zendaya while she was wearing heels.
Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, and Tom Holland: A Height Comparison
While Timothée’s definite height remains in question, the fact that Timothée is taller than Zendaya’s “Spiderman” boyfriend, Tom Holland, is without a doubt. Tom is roughly two inches shorter than Zendaya.
Zendaya and Tom have admitted how difficult their height difference sometimes makes filming—especially in “Spiderman” action landing shots in which Zendaya’s feet appear to reach the ground before Tom’s.

Zendaya’s love of high heels doesn’t help. The former Disney star often wears platforms and stilettos to red carpet events, making her appear much taller than any of her co-stars, regardless of the height differences.
Regardless, Zendaya and Tom don’t seem too bothered by the fact that Zendaya is taller than Tom. Their on-screen and off-screen chemistry compensate for the height difference!
How Timothée Chalamet Measures Up to His Co-Stars in The King
Before his work on “Dune,” Timothée appeared at the photo call for the epic war film “The King” at the 2019 Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy.
The film adaptation of several plays from Shakespeare’s Henriad also stars Lily-Rose Depp, Joel Edgerton, Sean Harris, Robert Pattinson, and Ben Mendelsohn.

While Timothée looked dapper in matching coordinates, his co-star Lily-Rose Depp stole the show.

The then 20-year-old French-American actress/model flaunted her legs in a romantic Chanel mini dress.

She styled her blush pink dress with various jewelry from the same French fashion company, including understated silver earrings and a small Chanel Coco Crush ring.

She completed her look with white crystal-embellished grosgrain sandals embellished with the Chanel logo.

Unfortunately, we could only find them in black at Farfetch.

In May 2019, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis’ daughter showcased her legs at the Chanel Cruise 2020 Collection fashion show, held at Le Grand Palais in Paris.

She styled a sexy graffiti-print Chanel Pre-Fall 2019 dress with a gold metallic leather belt, black over-the-knee boots, and Chanel Fine Jewelry.
