WWD and Variety’s inaugural Stylemakers event was a landmark occasion, bringing together the worlds of fashion and entertainment like never before.
Seven influential personalities, each a powerhouse in the fashion and entertainment industries, were honored with awards that left many in awe, especially those more accustomed to working behind the scenes.
As anticipated, the event was a showcase of remarkable style. While the guest list included only a few instantly recognizable Hollywood celebrities, those who attended brought their unique flair to the red carpet. But the question remains—who truly stole the spotlight as the best-dressed of the night?
1. Kerry Washington’s Bold Black and White Striped Ensemble
The Scandal actress again led the pack in her Saloni Spring 2016 striped ensemble, which included a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood “Chevron” striped pumps and Anita Ko diamond orbit earrings in rose gold.

While we adore the dress, we can’t help but think the shoes were too much for such a graphic look. A pair of black pumps would have made this outfit even more stunning.
