Zendaya was an honoree at the 2017 GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, & Straight Education Network) Respect Awards on Friday at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles. The 21-year-old actress and singer received the Gamechanger Award in recognition of her advocacy and activism.

“GLSEN is honored to recognize Zendaya with the Gamechanger Award for her commitment to social justice,” Eliza Byard, executive director of the organization, said in a statement. “This award was created to spotlight the next generation of leaders, and Zendaya, unafraid to raise her voice on a host of issues affecting LGBTQ students and other marginalized communities, clearly exemplifies that leadership.”

For the ceremony, Zendaya donned a Spring 2018 Calvin Klein 205W39NYC look consisting of a sleeveless orange blouse and a grey skirt.
She completed the outfit with her hair styled into side-swept waves, cheap-looking fuchsia-colored heels that looked like they were made with duct tape, and a variety of silver jewelry. Her ensemble was styled by Law Roach, who is also the co-creator of Daya by Zendaya.
