Serena Williams Wears NikeCourt Air Max 1 Ultra from Her “Greatness Collection” at 2015 Taste of Tennis Gala

The 2015 U.S. Open began on Monday, August 31. World Number 1 Serena Williams is playing for her 22nd major singles title, which would tie with the record set by Steffi Graf in 1999. She’s also bidding for a calendar-year Grand Slam — winning all four major tennis tournaments, including Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon Championships, and US Open — which is going to be the first in women’s tennis since Steffi Graf accomplished it in 1988.

Prior to the much-awaited US Open, the 33-year-old professional tennis player was spotted partying with other tennis stars at the 2015 Taste of Tennis event held at W New York Hotel in New York City on Thursday evening last week. The famed athlete showed off her toned arms and curves in a form-fitting black sleeveless frock that fell above her knees. She rocked a voluminous curly hairstyle with an off-center parting and went for a bronzed look with smoky eye shadow and light pink lipstick.

NikeCourt has recently released a new collection, called the “Greatness Collection,” to celebrate Serena Williams’ triumphs. It includes a special-edition bomber jacket and three footwear silhouettes: the NikeCourt Flare, the NikeCourt Roshe LD-1000, and the NikeCourt Air Max 1 Ultra shoes. She wore the latter at the Taste of Tennis gala. These shoes feature Nike Safari, which indicates her penchant for animal prints, and marble print, which symbolizes her strength.
