Dame Zaha Mohammad Hadid, an Iraqi-born British architect, left the world of architecture in shock when she died last year aged 65. In addition to being a recipient of numerous prestigious prizes, she is best known for designing buildings such as the aquatic centre for the London 2012 Olympics, Michigan State University’s Broad Art Museum in the US, the BMW Central Building Located in Germany, and the Guangzhou Opera House in China.
To honor the late architect, British shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood has designed several futuristic heels featuring architectural details. You can buy them at Farfetch, Net-A-Porter, and Moda Operandi. We’ve got a feeling that Zaha Hadid would love these shoes!
