The Prada Spring 2012 Flame Sandals Have Now Rocketed Into Bergdorf Goodman

The Prada flame sandals, only one of Style.com’s top 10 most wanted shoes of Spring 2012, are now ready to set your spring/summer wardrobe on FIRE.

Having been one of the most talked about shoes since they debuted on the Prada Spring 2012 runway in September, these first versions of the Prada flame sandals have now hit retail and are now available for purchase at Bergdorf Goodman:

Prada jewel toe flame sandal, $1,450.00

These are one of the shoes that split us here at YNS. Many of you had the hots for their 50s retro Cadillac feel but there were also those of you who thought they were more “Hot Wheels”.

The ones above are the ones that are more toy car-like for me but there are so many variations of the Prada flame sandals. Below are some of my favorite. I have to say that I had a hard time narrowing it down to these! :

They kind of look like superhero shoes with their respective team colors when you look at the Prada flame shoes one after the other.

Just like their fiery style, the prices on these retro rocket boosters are also as through the roof. They’re priced in the range of a thousand dollars but what else can we expect from designer shoes?

Solange Knowles Rocks Giuseppe Zanotti in NYC

Solange Knowles was recently spotted in a beautiful pair of Giuseppe Zanotti purple peep toe platform pumps at the 2012 Runway To Win Launch party in New York. I’m a big fan of Solange and her awesome sense of style. She always looks so fresh and fun but sophisticated and classy. Here she pairs purple Giuseppe Zanotti pumps with a purple floral Vera Wang dress and she looks A-mazing. Let’s take a look at her dress and shoe combo.

Solange looks great in this color, and these platform pumps really accentuate her slim legs. I really don’t think that she could have found a more perfect shoe for this awesome dress. Or a more perfect dress to go with these awesome shoes. I searched high and low and sadly couldn’t find the same pair as Solange wore here. I did find a few different black version and a nude mesh pair. Check out the 4 styles that I could find for us on line.

what do you think? It is a very sexy style even though we couldn’t find a more colorful pair at the moment. Overall, do you love Solange’s look as much as I do? 6 Shades of Sweet: The ‘Candee’ Heel from Betsey Johnson

When I spotted the ‘Canddee’ from Betsey Johnson at Zappos today I knew that our followers would appreciate her. She features a cute bow detail on the toe with a T strap pump design and sexy open toe. I love that the ‘Canddee’ comes in 6 fun color options too. I love the leopard option with black bow, but the pink multi would look really pretty paired with black tights. The fact that these heels ring in under $100 makes them even sweeter in my book.

I’d love to pair ‘Canddee’ with black tights and a voluminous dress for a sweet but sassy look. How would you style her? Take a look at all 6 shades of the ‘Candee’ and tell us which pair you’d rock.

Hit or Miss? The ‘Onceover’ Sandal from Stuart Weitzman

I know that snake skin/print is really popular right now, but it’s a small challenge to pull it off without looking cheap or gaudy. Today I spotted the ‘Onceover’ from Stuart Weitzman at Zappos and I can’t decide if I love or hate it. I know that it’s an expensive and quality heel, but it has a slightly cheap feel that I can’t get over. Perhaps if I could get them in my hands and on my feet I’d like them more, but for now I’m indecisive.

The ‘Onceover’ comes in two shades, one a light multi print and the other in a dark denim shade. Between the two the lighter pair is my favorite. What do you think? Check out the ‘Onceover’ and tell us if you think they’re a hit or a miss.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Wears B Brian Atwood and Christian Louboutin Well

The beautiful Sarah Michelle Gellar was spotted in B Brian Atwood and Christian Louboutin on the same night. She wore her B Brian Atwood pumps while on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ and the Louboutins after the show. I really like her outfits for this evening. Take a look at both.

This is the ensemble that Sarah wore on the show. I love this look and these heels. They’re called the ‘Blayne’ from B Brian Atwood and they’re available at Nordstrom as well as ShopBop. Let’s take a peek at look 2 for the evening before we examine her heels up close.

This is the ensemble that Sarah rocked after the show. I’m really crazy about this look; however, I can’t find these heels anywhere. What a bummer, right?(If any of our fellow shoe followers have spotted these on line please share. Our feet will thank you.) Nonetheless, Sarah knows how to choose a fun but sophisticated heel and really catch some attention with her sense of style.

Now, let’s take a closer look at her B Brian Atwood pumps.

I love the gold accents on the heel of this peep toe pump. It worked perfectly with Sarah Michelle Gellar’s dress, but could go with a ton of other outfits as well. Envision them paired with black trousers or denim and a shimmery bronze tank. Pretty, huh?

All in all I think Sarah knocked it out of the park on this evening. What do you think?

2 Styles 4 Vivid Color Combos: Check Out These Summery Diba Wedges

While browsing some of the new additions at Heels today I came across a couple of styles from Diba that I knew many of our followers would appreciate. Bright color is a huge trend for spring and these heels are definitely bright. I could see either of them paired with distressed denim and a crisp colorful T, or even a brightly colored solid dress.

Another factor that drew me to these lovely eye catching heels is the fact that each rings in under $75. I love trying new trends for less than $100 (less than $50 is ideal) so I can’t wait to snag one of these hot shoes to spice up my spring wardrobe. The ‘Car Laa’ and the ‘Dig It’ have a Missoni vibe that I really like. Check out each color of both styles and tell us which pair is you favorite.

Beyonce Debuts Her Post-Baby Body and One of the Bollywood-Inspired Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2012 Pumps

The first photos of Beyonce after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy last month are out and the new mama looks as bootylicious as ever:

Along with it, she also debuted these Bollywood-style Christian Louboutin Devidas platform pumps from the CL Spring/Summer 2012 collection which features many other Indian-inspired shoe styles:

Katy Perry was one of the celebrities who attended the star-studded DIRECTV Sixth Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl After Party held in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday night.

It must be such a pain finding something to wear to match with electric blue hair. Maybe that’s why Katy Perry wore this confused ensemble consisting of a turquoise blue pleated skirt and purple fur vest to the event:

LeAnn Rimes in Yves Saint Laurent Sandals: Do You Love Her Look?

Leann Rimes was recently spotted out at lunch with Kim Kardashian wearing a pair of leather and burlap platform sandals from Yves Saint Laurent. I don’t hate LeAnn’s look here, but I don’t really love it either. While I love these sturdy strappy sandals, I think she could have paired them with something a bit more exciting and stylish. I know that this was probably a casual lunch date, but a fun top paired with the denim shorts and an eye catching bag or scarf would have went a long way. Let’ take a look.

Do you see what I mean? Her ensemble seems a bit stuffy and boring. I actually like Kim’s outfit in this shot better. I’d love to see LeAnn pair these denim shorts with a fun striped T, printed scarf and large colorful satchel instead. Her sartorial pizzazz is seriously lacking here. We should take a closer look at her heels so that you can envision the many ways they could be worn.

Lovely sandals, right? I think so. I could see them paired with everything from denim to dresses this spring and summer. They have a very rugged yet refined feel that I love, and the color palette is so neutral that it makes them very versatile. I found a couple of pieces that I would have rather seen LeAnn pair with these shoes.

Can you picture these pieces paired with LeAnn’s Yves Saint Laurent heels? I think casual and colorful choices like this T and satchel would have made a huge difference. Perhaps a light scarf in a deep blue print would add another layer and dose of style.

So, ultimately I don’t love LeAnn’s look here. I’d definitely change it up a bit. Do you love it?

3 Shades of Fun: The ‘Beserk’ from Two Lips

Spring is right around the corner so there’s no longer any shame in searching for bright and fun sandals to spruce up our spring and summer wardrobes. Today I came across the ‘Beserk’ from Two Lips at Zappos and I was so pleased with the three light and bright color options available. Not only does this wedge sandal feature plenty of criss-crossing strap details, it comes in coral, turquoise, and light brown.

I could definitely see any of these paired with a floral print skirt or sundress and a denim jacket for a classic springtime look. They could also work with flared jeans and a peasant top for a relaxed boho feel. I think I’d go for the coral option, but all three are great in my opinion. What do you think?
