Kerry Washington is (figuratively) hopping on board the “Cars” franchise! The actress has lent her voice to the upcoming animated flick “Cars 3,” in which Kerry will portray little red sports car Natalie Certain.
The actress will be making her voicing debut on “Cars 3” alongside newcomers Nathan Fillion and Lea DeLaria.
Kerry’s excitement showed as she walked the carpet of the movie’s Hollywood premiere.

We’ve seen Kerry in a lot of looks, but this one definitely isn’t one of our favorites. While the combination of glittery heels and a girly pink dress seems cute in our heads, the outcome was anything but.
Kerry put on a custom Oscar de la Renta dress that reminded us of a last-minute off-the-rack prom dress. She finished her look with the Sophia Webster “Clara” clutch, a Le Vian ring and a pair of Stuart Weitzman “Nudist” sandals.

On the red carpet, Kerry said her two kids Caleb and Isabelle don’t quite get understand “Cars 3” yet. Kerry joked that she doesn’t think she will ever get cool points with her kids.
The actress gave birth to Caleb just October of last year.
Kerry also opened up about the last season of “Scandal,” staying mum on a lot of details, but saying that she trusts the show’s directors.
