Leighton Meester is back in the spotlight after laying low for a while. The “Gossip Girl” star has been taking some time away from the red carpet in order to focus on her one-year-old daughter, but she seemed to resurface at the start of the new year and has been attending events left and right ever since.

This time, Leighton arrived at the Harper’s Bazaar event to celebrate the “150 Most Fashionable Women” at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles.

Leighton showed off her well-maintained physique in a zig-zag patterned dress by David Koma. The dress plunged low at the front to show off the ample curves of the actress, and opened up at the side for  a little leg action.

Leighton turned up the heat with a sexy pair of strappy Jimmy Choo patent sandals. The actress finished her look on a slightly more demure tone by sporting a half ponytail.

Aside from celebrating the 100 most fashionable women, Leighton is busy setting the tone for her upcoming FOX comedy series called “Making History.” The actress will be playing Deborah, who was taken 200 years forward into 2017 after falling in love with a time-traveling man.

For someone who doesn’t post on social media a lot, Leighton has been promoting the show pretty heavily on her accounts. “Making History” will be premiering on March 5.
