Taylor Swift still felt the remnants of winter as she strolled around New York City earlier today and shopped at the new Steven Alan store. We didn’t instantly recognize her because she was sporting a new do — a shoulder-length bob with side-swept bangs.
The look was sophisticated and modern, departing from her usual retro-girly style. The haircut indicated that Taylor’s sartorial preferences may have evolved.

The 24-year-old actress, who recently chopped off her iconic locks in favor of a cutesy bob, sported an equestrian-like ensemble.

The “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer kept herself warm in a camel-toned, double-breasted Ulla Johnson Alice peacoat over a plaid shirt and oxblood red skinny pants.
Her shopping day outfit was completed with the ever-present earphones, a plaid neck wrap, a Dolce & Gabbana purse, and lace-up cognac Frye Courtney boots.

A few days ago, she visited the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and bonded with some patients, which earned her more love from fans and non-fans alike. If this thoughtful gesture did not endear her to you, we don’t know what will.
If you are still experiencing the lingering traces of winter, you might want to do some last-minute shopping and include a nice peacoat in your cold-weather arsenal.

What’s great about a peacoat is that it is classic and timeless, so you can still get a lot of wear out of it next winter. What are your thoughts on Taylor’s shopping outfit? Would you like to copy it?
