We like a red carpet experimenter just as much as the next fashion critic, but sometimes, the choices are too out of line. Christina Milian has never been our favorite on the red carpet — she’s just made too many questionable fashion choices.

Christina Milian’s song “When You Look at Me” significantly boosted her fame and established her as a pop artist in the early 2000s. Released when she was 20, it charted worldwide and became a major hit throughout Australia and Europe.
In January 2016, the singer was photographed at the BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea Party at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.

Christina arrived at the tea party in a Marc Jacobs crop top and pants by John Paul Ataker with an attached train.

The singer accessorized her look with Lorraine Schwartz earrings and a Fendi clutch. The Cuban singer showed off her sexy feet in Stuart Weitzman’s silver “Vixen” sandals. Celebrity fans of these shoes include Lucy Hale and Kate Walsh.
While Christina has had some questionable fashion moments, this look is a step in the right direction. However, the caped trousers feel a bit overdone, and pairing silver heels with gold earrings and warm-toned pants creates a confusing mix of elements.

But again, this isn’t as bad as her previous disco eggplant disaster. Christina’s heels are no longer available in metallic hues online, but we did find them in animal and striped prints at Nordstrom.
