Honored with the Breakthrough Director Award for Booksmart, Wilde opted for the metallic Pattie leather platform sandals by Jimmy Choo—a silhouette also favored by Julianne Hough during the America’s Got Talent Season 14 live tapings.

On the red carpet, Wilde—who stands at 5’7″ (170.2 cm) and wears a US shoe size 8—was joined by Unbelievable star Kaitlyn Dever, whose 5ft 2 (157.5 cm) frame and US size 7.5 footwear made Wilde appear especially statuesque by comparison; Dever offered a sharp sartorial counterpoint in a cherry-red Monique Lhuillier Spring 2020 gown, finished with minimalist Tamara Mellon sandals and Jennifer Meyer jewelry.

Wilde, who holds dual American and Irish citizenship, leaned into a sophisticated “more is more” aesthetic for the evening.

The actress-turned-director, known for her distinct central heterochromia, styled her platforms with a custom Michael Kors Collection Resort 2020 peplum gown. She finished the look with a green Tyler Ellis ‘Lily’ clutch and Nigora Tabayer “All eyes on you” earrings.

Perfect for cocktail parties or other evening events, the glamorous Pattie sandals are set on a towering 130mm heel that’s balanced by a sturdy platform and feature an adjustable ankle strap for support.

The Pattie sandals were available in shimmering light lilac glitter fabric, metallic lizard-effect leather, plush burgundy velvet, black suede, dark teal velvet, shimmering tweed, and many more colors.

During a recent plane ride, the House actress watched a censored version of her movie without the film’s lesbian sex scene. She noted all of the instances where the film had been changed.

“I finally had the chance to watch an edited version of Booksmart on a flight to see exactly what had been censored. It turns out some airlines work with a third-party company that edits the movie based on what they deem inappropriate. Which, in our case, is … female sexuality? 🤔,” Olivia wrote on her Twitter.

The previous month, she received the Rising Star Director Award for her directorial debut at the 2019 SCAD Savannah Film Festival, held at the Gutstein Gallery in Savannah, Georgia.
