She captured the hearts of many in her role as Brienne of Tarth in the HBO hit Game of Thrones. On Sunday, Gwendoline Christie graced the blue carpet at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards, where she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Never one to play it safe when it comes to her fashion choices, Gwendoline skipped the usual red carpet gown in favor of a pantsuit from the Dior Men Spring 2020 Collection.

The 41-year-old actress embraced the power suit trend, wearing a two-piece gray suit that included a boxy double-breasted blazer and a pair of loose-fitting trousers. Styled by Jerry Stafford, the suit features a contrasting white satin lapel sash, which drapes down the front.
In a quick interview with Access Hollywood, Gwendoline said that saying goodbye to Game of Thrones was hard. “It’s tough. I mean it’s been a big grieving process because it was an enormous part of all our lives. It changed my life. It helped give me a career,” she said.
Beauty-wise, Gwendoline wore barely-there makeup, care of makeup artist Stoj. Using Pat McGrath Labs makeup, she highlighted her eyes with mascara, eyeliner, and taupe eyeshadow. The English actress also applied nude pink lipstick and matching blush on her cheeks.

Hairstylist John D. gave her hair a textured messy look, while manicurist Tracy Clemens painted her nails in nude pink color.

Gwendoline accessorized her chic androgynous look with just a Rose Dior Bagatelle diamond ring from Dior Fine Jewelry. She then added a couple of inches to her already statuesque 6’2” frame with a pair of classic shoes.
Gwendoline’s gray suede pumps revealed bone spurs on her feet. They feature pointed toes and about 4-inch heels.
