She’s best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City. And since bursting onto our TV screens as the iconic character, Sarah Jessica Parker has been considered as one of the biggest fashion icons of all time.
She never fails to impress us with her statement-making looks, and Thursday was no different when she took to the streets of Manhattan for a photo shoot.

Channeling her on-screen alter ego, SJP struck a pose outside her Midtown shoe store in a cozy purple blanket dress from Hanifa, a Maryland-based contemporary ready-to-wear label founded by Congolese designer Anifa Mvuemba.

Made from hand-knit Korean acrylic yarn, the knit cardigan wrap dress compliments Sarah Jessica’s slender figure. It has a sexy v-neckline, a tasseled hem, and an extremely high split along the front.
Onlookers caught a glimpse of her underwear as the daring split opened, exposing a little more than the ultimate New Yorker intended.

While she’s not one to skimp on accessories, SJP decided to forgo wearing elaborate jewelry to allow her vibrant maxi dress to stand out.

The 55-year-old actress instead completed her look with a pair of fuchsia footwear, creating a contrasting but chic color combination.
The Footloose star slipped into her favorite “Fawn” satin pumps from her eponymous shoe collection.
Available in over a dozen colors, this silhouette is one of SJP’s most popular shoe styles.

Sarah Jessica later did an outfit change, trading her bold maxi for a gothic long, black dress.
She looked equally sensational in the dark number, which drew attention to her cleavage and tiny waist. It features puff shoulders, long sleeves, a plunging v-neckline, and a floor-length hem.

Kim Cattrall’s archenemy went for minimal accessories, which included a pair of stud earrings and a colorful bangle.
And for her beauty look, she simply wore her naturally curly hair down and highlighted her eyes with dark eyeliner and smokey eyeshadow.

Completing her outfit was a pair of lilac Mary Jane pumps from Carrie Bradshaw’s favorite shoe designer, Manolo Blahnik.
