Actress Hilary Swank is a proud new mother to twins – a boy and a girl.
The 48-year-old Insomnia actress, best known for her roles in “Million Dollar Baby” and “P.S. I Love You,” welcomed her first kids with her social enterprise entrepreneur husband, Philip Schneider, on Easter Sunday.
Swank shared the happy news with her fans on Instagram, posting an adorable photo of herself donning a white robe while holding her precious newborn babies and gazing lovingly at a stunning beach sunset.

In the post, the Award-winning star, who chose to keep the identities of her children private, expressed how difficult the journey to motherhood had been but how worth it the experience was.
The Next Karate Kid actress wrote, “It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. 👼🏼👼🏼”
She added, “Happy Easter! 🐣🐣 Posting from pure Heaven. 🙌🏽”
In the comments, many celebrities, including Kate Hudson, Viola Davis, Michelle Monaghan, and Sharon Stone, congratulated Swank on the arrival of her twins.

Swank and Schneider, who first met on a blind date set up, have been married since 2018. In an interview with Vogue in August of that same year, Swank described her wedding as “timeless” and a “dream come true.”
She said, “It was timeless. There is just no other way to describe it. I was overwhelmed with such gratitude and thanks to be marrying the man of my dreams and to see all the people we love together in the middle of such a profound setting. It was truly a dream come true.”
Swank announced her pregnancy on “Good Morning America” in October 2022, sharing her excitement at becoming a mother for the first time.

She said, “This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time. I’m going to be a mom and not just of one, but of two.”
The Oscar Award winner gushed, “I can’t believe it,” and said, “It’s so nice to be able to talk about it and share it.”
While making another appearance on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” on that same day, Swank opened up more about her pregnancy, claiming that she was “feeling great.” She also revealed how the “Alaska Daily” crew found out she was expecting while she was in her second trimester.

The actress admitted, “My clothes started not to fit, so I had to, the other day … cut [my jeans] open. And then I put a jacket on that wasn’t in continuity. And [they] came and said, ‘That’s not in continuity.’ I said, ‘Oh, I think it works.’ ‘It doesn’t.’ ‘No, it does. I’m going to make it work.’ She’s like, ‘If you’re an executive producer, you can do it, but this is weird.'”
Swank added more details by revealing that both her grandma and her husband’s grandmother had their own twins, saying, “So we have twins in our lineage,” adding, “It’s such a blessing. It’s a total miracle. It’s unbelievable.”
Throughout her pregnancy, Swank kept her followers updated on her journey to motherhood, sharing the joys and challenges of carrying twins.

She proudly showed off her growing baby bump on Instagram after two months while she decorated a Christmas tree with her two dogs posing for the camera.
The expectant mother donned matching black long-sleeved clothing and leggings, looking comfortable and at ease as she smiled broadly for the photo.
Her caption read, “All I want for Christmas is yoooouuus, ohhhhhhh baby(s).”
In another photo, Swank posed next to the same Christmas tree, cradling her bump and expressing gratitude for her two precious “gifts of a lifetime.”

She joked about her pregnancy with a hint of humor by saying, “Oven’s heatin’ up, dough’s beginning to rise!!” in a separate post.
During the Golden Globe Awards in January, Swank made a funny remark on the red carpet, sharing that she had “three months to go” and amusingly recounted how someone suggested she “start jumping up and down to get that baby out.”
