Officially listed at 5 feet 11 inches (180.3 cm), Jessica Williams stepped out in a rich burgundy look outside The View studios while promoting the upcoming third season of Shrinking. The actress—who has joked that she’s actually “a good solid six feet”—is also known for confidently embracing her US size 11 footwear, a detail that allows her to pull off bold silhouettes and statement heels with ease.
She’s set to reprise her role as Gaby, a therapist who works alongside Jimmy Laird, played by Jason Segel, at the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Center. Shrinking season 3 is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, January 28.
For her latest press appearance, Jessica went head-to-toe in burgundy, a shade that’s been everywhere lately. The deep shade looked great on her and polished the outfit.

Britt Netta “Esme” Pumps: Sheer Mesh Heels With Architectural Precision
While Jessica Williams’ burgundy dress delivered a strong visual impact, the real point of interest was her footwear. She stepped out in the Britt Netta “Esme” pumps, an understated silhouette elevated by thoughtful construction rather than overt embellishment.
Crafted in Italy from the brand’s signature transparent mesh with smooth nappa leather trim, the pumps strike a balance between lightness and structure, allowing just a hint of skin to show through while maintaining a refined, architectural finish.
Founded by New York–based designer Brittany Netta, Britt Netta reflects a dual identity—rooted in Italian shoemaking tradition yet energized by modern New York sensibility. Netta’s formal training in haute couture at the Fashion Institute of Technology, combined with formative time spent in Milan and Florence, informs the brand’s precise craftsmanship and directional design language. The result is footwear that feels contemporary and culturally attuned, with the “Esme” pumps embodying the label’s signature mix of sheer materials, sculptural lines, and confident femininity.
The mesh material allowed just a hint of skin to peek through, softening the pumps’ look, while the leather slingback strap curved neatly around Jessica’s heel, creating an incredibly flattering look on her foot.
Set on 3.7-inch heels, the pumps gave her a little extra height, which she hardly needed, but they still sharpened her look and made it more elevated.

Marques’Almeida’s Structured Burgundy Dress Grounds the Look
Jessica’s dress itself was just as commanding. She wore a burgundy Marques’Almeida dress that played beautifully with contrast. The dress’s form-fitting top was simple, made of ribbed jersey that skimmed her torso nicely.
It had a mock neck that gave it a clean, polished finish, while the cap sleeves beautifully framed her shoulders. I also liked the basque waist, which highlighted her frame and created a smooth transition into a fuller skirt, keeping the proportions in check!
The skirt did all the heavy lifting from there. Made from structured mikado fabric, the midi-length puff skirt had real volume and shape, giving the dress its standout silhouette. The fullness added movement and drama, especially when she walked. What worked so well was the contrast. The slim, straightforward bodice made the skirt feel even more striking!
Another celebrity fan of the London-based fashion label is Bella Hadid, who stepped out in Paris wearing a structured jacket by Marques’Almeida, Off-White “For Walking” pumps, and sleek Roberi & Fraud sunglasses, showcasing her bold and edgy street style
Outside the studio, Jessica layered the dress with a long black coat, which created a strong contrast against the burgundy. The dark outerwear broke up the monochrome, giving the outfit a sharper, more pulled-together look.

Retro Accessories Add Personality to the Burgundy Palette
Williams didn’t hold back on accessories, and I loved how much personality they added to the look. She layered on multiple earrings and rings, adding a soft touch of sparkle against the rich burgundy tones.
While the dress and pumps felt modern and feminine, her accessories took the look in a different direction. The burgundy headscarf gave it a vintage touch, and the black-and-white sunglasses, with their pixel-printed frames, added a playful, retro touch.
Jessica completed her outfit with a burgundy croc-embossed bucket bag worn over her shoulder. It stayed within the same color family but added texture, tying the whole look together while still keeping things visually interesting.
