The film had its world premiere in the main competition of the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Palme d’Or.

With Johansson not in attendance, Demi became one of the biggest style moments of the night, arriving in a voluminous hot pink gown by Matières Fécales with matching pumps from the Parisian label’s collaboration with Christian Louboutin.

The look marked another standout fashion moment during Demi Moore’s Cannes 2026 run, following her earlier red-carpet appearance in sculptural Gucci sandals and oversized Jacquemus bow heels at the festival.

This was not the usual elegant Cannes look I expected from Demi Moore. She looked like a modern princess in a bolder, slightly rebellious take on fairytale dressing.

For the shoes, Demi wore hot pink pumps from the Matières Fécales x Christian Louboutin The One Percent Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The pumps looked sleek and modern, with sharp architectural lines that matched the gown’s drama.

They featured elongated, pointed toes, which gave the shoes a very polished look, while the large, flat bow on the front added a feminine yet not-too-sweet detail.

These pumps were set on curved dagger heels, which also gave them an edgier, more avant-garde finish.

Demi paired the pumps with a voluminous hot pink gown that took over the red carpet. With Cannes recently banning extra-long trains, she still managed to command attention with her gown’s volume, structure, and exaggerated shape.
