We didn’t see it coming, but it wasn’t a surprise. We’re talking about Jessica Alba finally releasing a book of her own.
The actress has always been vocal about her love of natural living, and she has even launched a company dedicated to all-natural home products called The Honest Company. So, in a way, finally seeing her pen and book comes as no shock.
The paperback, The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You, is now available on Amazon.

Of course, with the book’s release came a series of promotional appearances – one of which occurred just yesterday in Huntington, New York.

For the book signing, Jess kept it sartorially interesting by clashing colors – a bright orange Fendi jacket over dark olive trousers. It was a striking combination, but she pulled it off quite nicely.

Jessica wore a bright orange moto jacket, olive green loose-cropped pants, and Manolo Blahnik’s ‘Nausikaba’ pumps.
While this may work for some women, this color combination can also be an eyesore. In my opinion, Jessica should have picked a color other than orange to complement her green pants. What do you think?
And because we’re all about bags here, we couldn’t help but notice the purse she wore with the outfit. It was two-toned, neutral, studded, and looked very familiar:

Yep, that’s a Ferragamo right there, the Sofia, to be exact. But unlike the classic Sofia, Jessica’s bag is trimmed with studs and comes in leather and canvas.
It isn’t available online, but other bag colors are available at Farfetch and Nordstrom. Depending on the size, material(s) used, and the store you buy it from, the price of the bag can range from $1,790 to $4,350:
