We didn’t see it coming, but it didn’t come as a surprise either. We’re talking about Jessica Alba finally releasing a book of her own.
The actress has always been vocal about her love of natural living, and she has even put up a company dedicated to all-natural home products named The Honest Company. So in a way, to finally see her pen a book comes as no shock.
The paperback, The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You, is now out and available at Amazon.

Of course, with the book’s release came a series of promotional appearances – one of which took place just yesterday at Huntington, New York.

For the book signing, Jess kept it sartorially interesting by clashing colors – a bright orange jacket over dark olive trousers. It was a very striking combination, but she pulled it off quite nicely.
And because we’re all about bags here, we couldn’t help but notice the purse she wore with the outfit as well. It was two-toned, neutral, studded, and looked very familiar:

Yep, that’s obviously a Ferragamo right there; the Sofia to be exact. But unlike the classic Sofia, Jessica’s bag is trimmed with studs and comes in a mix of leather and canvas.
It isn’t available online, but other colors of the bag can be found at Farfetch and Nordstrom. Depending on the size, material(s) used, and the store you buy it from, the price of the bag can range from $1,790 to $4,350:

It’s a rather expensive purse. If you can afford authentic designer handbags, feel free to make the splurge. But if you want to be frugal about it, here’s a really nice mixed media bag from Diane von Furstenberg that won’t cost you as much.
