Amanda Seyfried was spotted out and about in London recently. The actress, who currently stars in A Million Ways to Die in the West alongside Charlize Theron, looked polished and pretty in her monochromatic ensemble as she left her hotel for a guest appearance on BBC Radio 1.

She rocked a black trench coat over her black leggings, then capped off the combo with a checkered scarf and black-and-white cap-toe pumps. It was a simple outfit that was both chic and elegant.

How do you like Amanda’s street style? Leggings aren’t exactly the classiest pair of bottoms on the market. In our opinion, they’re best worn with knee-high boots.
However, she elevated the look with simple yet stylish additions like a structured coat and a checkered scarf. Paired with chic cap-toe heels that perfectly matched her patterned scarf, Amanda effortlessly pulled off this ensemble with flying colors.

If you want to steal her style, you’ll first need a checkered scarf. Her piece looks very much like this linen Burberry neck warmer. It’s light, airy, and ideal for the summer weather:

Another one in merino wool is also available if you want the option. This particular variant offers a similar pattern but with extra fringes all around. This piece is ideal for cooler weather:

Once you’ve acquired the scarf, grab a lightweight coat and some statement shoes. Amanda’s topper looks very similar to this coat from Burberry. It retails at a pricey $995, so if you’re on a budget, you can go with the coat from Via Spiga instead:

Finally, finish off the combination with a pair of black-and-white pumps. We’ve yet to ID Amanda’s shoes so you can go with alternatives in the same combination. Check out these affordable options from Kenneth Cole and Halogen:
