During a visit to Good Morning America in New York City in December last year, Mindy Kaling showcased two stunning outfits that caught everyone’s attention.
In the interview, the 43-year-old actress and writer was asked about what her character on The Office, Kelly Kapoor, would be up to now, nearly a decade after the show’s conclusion.
Mindy replied that she thought Kelly would have left Dunder Mifflin to become an influencer and would probably have been canceled almost immediately.

Mindy went on to say that most of the characters on The Office would be canceled by now, and the show’s writers often discuss how much of the show they probably couldn’t make now.
“I think she would have quit Dunder Mifflin to become an influencer. And then probably be canceled, almost immediately,” Mindy said.
“Actually, most of the characters on that show would be canceled by now,” Mindy told GMA.
“That show is so inappropriate now. We talk about, the writers who I’m still in touch with now, we always talk about how so much of that show, we probably couldn’t make now.”

“Tastes have changed and honestly what offends people has changed so much now,” Mindy said. “So I think that actually is one of the reasons the show is popular because people feel like there’s something kind of fearless about it or taboo that it talks about on the show.”
She explained that tastes have changed, and what offends people has changed too, but that the show’s popularity might be due to its fearless and taboo topics.
