However, the 39-year-old actress didn’t let that footwear faux pas dampen her mood as she was too busy receiving her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Zoe was simply elegant despite the wardrobe malfunction in a pale-blush Miu Miu slip dress that featured a crystal ribbon embellishment on the chest. She paired it with a matching cardigan, the aforementioned Miu Miu sandals, and a loose, wavy hairdo.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star celebrated the defining moment in her career along with her husband, Marco Perego, and their sons, three-year-old twins Bowie Ezio and Cy Aridio and one-year-old Zen Perego-Saldana.

In a June 2015 interview with US Weekly, Zoë Saldana explained why she and her husband are raising their three boys in a gender-neutral household.
“We have a very gender-neutral environment where my husband participates in a lot of tasks that were normally given to women and vice versa,” the dancer said.

“I get to do a lot of male things, which is, I don’t know, put the TV together, fix things that break. We’re sort of a very gender-fluid household. I think it’s important to raise boys in that environment, and girls as well.”

“I’m learning a lot about male biology. Boys are insane and just as crazy as females are,” Saldana explained. “They’re just as sensitive and just as kind but super hyper. It’s really hard to … You need a lot of physical energy to keep up with three boys. Four boys because my husband is the biggest one.”
“I have three boys … Blowouts always happen in the most inconvenient time. I’ve had all of those,” Zoe continued.
“I’ve checked every box. Airport, public places, in the car, sitting and talking to people that you barely know. All of a sudden you smell something and you look at yourself and you’re full of s—t. It’s just, you know, c’est la vie.”
