The beloved To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before universe is back, and this time it’s all about everyone’s favorite matchmaker, Kitty Song Covey.
Netflix has gifted us with the delightful spin-off series XO, Kitty, which premiered on May 18, 2023.
Created by Jenny Han, the show follows 16-year-old Kitty as she embarks on a journey to find true love, all while attending the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) in South Korea.

Kitty tries to uncover her late mother’s past and attempts to reconnect with her long-distance Korean boyfriend, Dae. But as we know, things never go according to plan in rom-com.

1. Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey – 5ft 4 ½ in. (163.8 cm)
Anna Cathcart, who stands at 5 feet and 4 ½ inches (163.8 cm), is the talented Canadian actress who brings Katherine “Kitty” Song Covey to life in the XO, Kitty spin-off series.
She has been portraying Kitty since she was 14, and you may recognize her as the well-meaning meddler who delivered Lara Jean’s (portrayed by Lana Condor) love letters in the To All the Boys film series.

Her character is entering her junior year of high school and embarking on a new adventure at her mother’s alma mater, where she faces fresh challenges and uncertainties.
Born on June 16, 2003, Anna Cathcart is of Chinese and Irish descent, and she started her career in children’s media and later ventured into romantic comedies.

The 20-year-old actress appeared as Dizzy Tremaine in the Disney Channel films Descendants 2 and 3. She also starred in her short-lived show, Zoe Valentine.
Aside from her role in the TAtB series, she is known for her work as Olympia in the PBS Kids series Odd Squad, where she bagged a Canadian Screen Award.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Anna is a college student at the University of British Columbia, studying sociology and creative writing.
2. Min Yeong Choi as Dae Heon Kim – 5ft 8 ½ in. (174 cm)
Standing at an impressive height of 5 feet and 8 ½ inches (174 cm), South Korean actor Min Yeong Choi plays the ordinary yet warmhearted Dae Heon Kim, previously portrayed by Ho Young Jeon.

Dae is Kitty’s long-distance boyfriend, whom she met in To All the Boys: Always and Forever when she visited Seoul. Despite the distance, they have maintained a strong connection, speaking to each other daily for four years.
Born on October 9, 2002, Min Yeong Choi is no stranger to the screen, starting his acting journey at 11 when he debuted in the drama series Magic Thousand Characters.

The 20-year-old rising star appeared in Korean dramas like Entertainer, Mr. Sunshine, Twenty-Five Twenty One, Strong Girl Bong-Soon, Itaewon Class, and the feature film Dream Palace. However, XO, Kitty marks his first venture into a U.S. production.
Beyond acting, Min Yeong has ambitious goals, including exploring musical theater and pursuing a career as a singer-songwriter.
3. Gia Kim as Yuri Han – 5ft 4 in. (163 cm)
30-year-old Gia Kim has an average height of 5 feet and 4 inches (163 cm) and portrays Yuri Han in the XO, Kitty series.

Yuri is a stunning social media star and the daughter of successful parents – a high-powered businessman and the principal of KISS. She’s constantly followed by paparazzi, forcing her to guard her deepest secrets.
Gia Kim is a budding actress born in Seoul, South Korea, on November 4, 1992. Although raised in Hong Kong, she pursued her passion for performance and attended the Art of Acting Studio in Los Angeles.

Despite coming from a conservative background, Gia followed her dreams and landed her first major role as Yuri in XO, Kitty. When she received the news of her casting, Gia was working a brunch shift as a waitress, and the overwhelming joy brought tears to her eyes.
4. Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho – 5ft 10 in. (177.8 cm)
Sang Heon Lee is a South Korean actor with an impressive height of 5 feet and 10 inches (177.8 cm), who plays the ultra-privileged Min Ho.
He lives a lavish lifestyle with little parental supervision following a messy divorce. Despite his appearance, he values loyalty and cherishes his friendships, especially with his close buddy Dae.

Sang Heon Lee, born on May 21, 1996, in Seoul, South Korea, has a multicultural background and spent much of his childhood in Hong Kong with his older sister, Gia Kim.
The 27-year-old actor developed a passion for acting during high school and pursued drama at the University of Northampton in England.

After fulfilling his military duty, Sang Heon entered the entertainment industry, landing his breakout role as Min Ho in XO, Kitty. After his successful run in the series, he will reprise his role as Min Ho for season two.
Excitingly, he is set to appear in the upcoming film Gran Turismo alongside David Harbour and Orlando Bloom.
5. Anthony Keyvan as Quincy “Q” Shabazian – 6ft (183 cm)
Standing tall at 6 feet (183 cm), 22-year-old Anthony Keyvan gives life to Quincy “Q” Shabazian, Kitty’s best friend and confidante at the Korean Independent School of Seoul.

While helping his friend with her romantic endeavors, Q navigates his love life, and Kitty is more than willing to play matchmaker to set him up with his French classmate, Florian.
He’s one of the few openly gay students at the school, and the writers made him half Iranian and half Filipino, just like Anthony himself.

Born on August 13, 2000, Anthony Keyvan has been in the acting game since a young age, with an impressive list of TV and film credits including iCarly, Grey’s Anatomy, and NCIS. You may also recognize him as Rahim in Hulu’s Love, Victor, and Pablo in HBO Max’s Genera+ion.
6. Peter Thurnwald as Professor Alex Finnerty – 6ft (183 cm)
Peter Thurnwald is 6 feet (183 cm) tall and takes the role of Professor Alex Finnerty, one of Kitty’s teachers at the Korean Independent School of Seoul.

Recently arriving in Seoul from Australia, he’s adapting to his new surroundings like Kitty. Alex becomes Kitty’s mentor and source of stability as she navigates the challenges of living in a different country.
Like Alex, Peter Thurnwald hails from Melbourne, Australia. His acting journey began when a casting agent discovered him while studying physics at the University of Queensland.

Since then, he has appeared in notable productions like King Kong: Skull Island and Thor: Ragnarok, along with more prominent roles in the Australian comedy-drama Bump and the American mockumentary Players.
7. Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison Miller – 5ft 5 in. (165 cm)
Jocelyn Shelfo, who is 5 feet and 5 inches (165 cm) tall, joins the XO, Kitty cast as Madison Miller, the daughter of one of Yuri’s dad’s business associates.

The young actress is no stranger to Jenny Han’s productions, as she previously appeared in season 1 of The Summer I Turned Pretty as Marisa.

Meet the Supporting Cast of XO, Kitty
Born on November 7, 1973, Yun Jin Kim is 5 feet and 5 ½ inches (166.4 cm) tall, and she takes on the role of Principal Jina Lim, an alumna of KISS, who also happens to be Yuri’s mom.
Known for her breakout role as a North Korean assassin in Shiri and as Sun in Lost, the 49-year-old has been a prominent figure in both Korean and American film and television.

Théo Augier Bonaventure stands at 5 feet and 7 inches (170 cm), and he portrays Florian, an international student at KISS, who catches the attention of many, including Q.
The French and Greek rising star’s status in French productions and his talents as a director make him a true asset to the series.
