Ciara and Russell Wilson are engaged! The 30-year-old singer and the 27-year-old Seattle Seahawks quarterback, who are currently vacationing in the Republic of Seychelles at the exclusive resort North Island, shared the wonderful news on their social media accounts.

“She said Yes!!! Since Day 1 I knew you were the one,” Russell tweeted from the private resort North Island.
A popular destination among the rich and famous, Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, honeymooned at the North Island Resort. George and Amal Clooney picked the same resort for their honeymoon.

“The biggest surprise was that Russell proposed to his new fiancée at the romantic private ‘Honeymoon Beach’ located on North Island,” one of Ciara’s representatives said in a statement. They made their appearance as a couple in spring 2015 at the Obamas’ Japanese state dinner.
About a week before their engagement, the two attended the Givenchy Fall 2016 fashion show held during Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France.
