In an interview with ET at the premiere, Debby Ryan reflected on her groundbreaking role and directorial achievements on Disney Channel as she celebrated the 11th anniversary of her show, Jessie. She expressed nostalgia and gratitude for how Jessie shaped her career, particularly noting how the show made her Disney’s youngest-ever director.

Debby Ryan: From ‘Jessie’ to Silver Screen

Best known for her role as recent high school graduate Jessie Prescott in the Disney Channel television series “Jessie,” Debby Ryan was 18 when the first episode of “Jessie” premiered on September 30, 2011. She was 22 when the last episode aired on October 16, 2015.

Before “Jessie,” Ryan appeared in several television shows and films, including “The Suite Life on Deck” and “16 Wishes.”

The Theme of ‘Jessie’: A Nanny’s Adventures in New York

The “Jessie” theme song is called “Call Me, Beep Me! (The Kim Possible Song)” and was performed by Debby Ryan. Christopher J. Nowman and Bobbi Page wrote it, and the lyrics describe Jessie as a “nanny on the run” who is “saving the day and having fun.”

Debby portrays a young woman from Texas who moves to New York City to become a nanny for the wealthy Ross family. Cameron Boyce played the role of Luke Ross, one of the children in the family for whom Jessie works.

Stunning Red Carpet Moments: Debby Ryan’s Fashion Choices

Debby Ryan is always flawless when she attends events, and the January 2014 Los Angeles premiere of That Awkward Moment was no exception.

The then-20-year-old actress even stood out among other gorgeous Disney stars, including Ashley Tisdale and Zac Efron, during the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live event.

Debby Ryan brought a punch of color to the red carpet in a neon pink-and-orange Osman dress with an asymmetrical hem.

It was very age-appropriate and flattering, and the brightness of the dress looked stunning with her complexion and red hair. While this dress is also available in black and white, we were pleased to see Debby in this rather fearless color-blocked version.

To tone down the brightness of her look, she carried a black clutch and wore midnight blue heels.

Black sandals would’ve probably worked better with her dress, but her blue Aperlai heels added more electricity to her color-blocked look.
