An Entertainment Tonight source claims that Emma Roberts and Cody John started dating in the summer of 2022.
They went public with their relationship in August of that year when Cody shared a black and white photo of them kissing on a yacht, with Emma in a printed bikini and Cody in just a pair of board shorts. He captioned the post, “sweet sweet.”

Their romance began just a few months after Emma Roberts’ three-year relationship with her baby daddy, Garrett Hedlund, ended in January 2022.
In December 2022, Roberts made their relationship official on Instagram by uploading a photo of them holding hands with their backs turned to the camera.
Since then, the two have been spotted out together more frequently.

A source told E! News that Roberts and John met through mutual “friends in the industry.”
“Emma loves Cody’s personality. He’s really funny and they have been having a good time together.”
The insider also said that they are “taking it slow” for Emma’s son with Hedlund, Rhodes. “Emma is cautious about bringing her son around new people,” the source continued, “but knows the day will come soon.”
