Did you catch the 2013 Emmy Awards? There were a lot of familiar faces on the red carpet, each exuding confidence and gratitude for being part of such a prestigious event. As Ann Dowd beautifully said, “When I won the Emmy, the profound sense of gratitude… was one of the most beautiful moments of my life.” Moments like these make the Emmys more than just an awards show; they’re a celebration of talent, style, and individuality.
Of course, while the gowns were breathtaking, they often meant we couldn’t get a good look at one of our favorite red carpet highlights — the shoes! Formal eveningwear has its charms, but let’s not forget the fabulous footwear hidden beneath those elegant dresses.
Thankfully, we managed to catch glimpses of some stunning celebrity footwear picks. Have a look at the heels below and let us know — who do you think deserves the title of “Best in Shoes” for the night?

The Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals have long been a red carpet favorite, gracing the feet of numerous celebrities.
For instance, Jennifer Lawrence paired them with a Jason Wu dress at the ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ premiere, while Victoria Justice showcased them with a Hervé Léger fringe mini dress at the Teen Choice Awards.
Their elegant design complements a variety of styles, making them a versatile choice for many occasions.

2. Cat Deeley Shimmers in Armani Privè and Mesh Strap Sandals
The voluptuous Cat Deeley wore a black glittery cutout dress that showcased her derriere and sexy back.

If you like how the pair looks from the back, a good alternative to grab would be the B Brian Atwood “Lollita” sandals.

3. Gia Coppola Keeps it Cool with Monochrome and Matching Pumps
Gia Coppola wore dusty blue from head to toe at the Emmys. She received a lot of flak for the monochromatic ensemble, but we don’t think she looked terrible.
Besides, we were too distracted by her matching blue ankle-strap pumps to even care if she looked perfect.

Update: Thanks to one of our loyal readers, Lucía Mancuso, we discovered that Gia sported Zac Posen from head to toe — a set from the designer’s Spring 2013 runway.

Julianna Margulies was all smiles on the red carpet as she showed off her uniquely designed Reed Krakoff gown.

8. Julianne Hough Dares in Sheer Jenny Packham and Jimmy Choo Heels
Julianne Hough wowed in a sheer beaded frock that showcased her legs and gorgeous Jimmy Choo heels.

She completed her ensemble with Daniel Swarovski jewelry and a Swarovski clutch.

9. Kate Mara Goes Angelic in J. Mendel and Charlotte Olympia Sandals

10. Kiernan Shipka Charms in Floral Delpozo and Gold Jimmy Choo Sandals
Cutie-pie Kiernan Shipka wore a smile and a colorful dress on the award ceremony’s red carpet.
