Florence Pugh, who measures just 5ft 3 (160 cm), knows how to take an outfit to a whole new level and color blocking is no exception.
The 26-year-old British-born actress was spotted in New York promoting her latest movie, The Wonder, which debuted in early November, wearing an Havre Studio black and white contrasting jacket and skirt set.

We love the two-toned cropped jacket and miniskirt with fabulous button details, which she paired with a beige and black Gucci monogram shoulder bag, but the pièce de resistance was her boots.
She continued the alternating color blocking from her jacket-and-skirt set, wearing a white boot on her right foot and a black boot on her left.
Her knee-length pointed-toe Paris Texas boots were the perfect choice giving her that extra bit of height.

Despite her height of 5ft 3 inches (160 cm), which is shorter than the average height of an American woman (5ft 4 inches or 162.56 cm), Florence Pugh’s talent, hard work, and perseverance have made her a successful actress, demonstrating that height is not a limiting factor in the entertainment industry.

Mismatched footwear first became a hit in that iconic scene from Sex and the City, where Carrie Bradshaw started the trend wearing one metallic pink heel on one foot and a metallic blue heel on the other.
Only the truly brave and confident can successfully pull off this look, though having Rebecca Corbin-Murray as your stylist certainly doesn’t hurt.
Boudoir chick in Valentino
Florence’s outfits are never predictable, and this year has seen her showcase a variety of incredibly chic and glamorous looks. Her recent red carpet moment at the premiere of The Wonder movie was a point in case.

With its spaghetti straps and feathered trim, the gown was described as boudoir chic by British Vogue, and stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray accessorized Florence’s look with a whimsical birdcage Lulu Guinness clutch.
Whimsical Rodarte
At the British Independent Film Awards earlier this month, Florence gave the cameras plenty to capture as she posed in a Rodarte pale pink dress from their 2022 Fall collection.

Valentino strikes again
And then, last but not least, was her dramatic look at the British Fashion Awards. Florence stole the show as she rocked a red backless custom Valentino design that first debuted on the runway at Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Spring 2023 show.
Her dress was the epitome of style, featuring spaghetti straps and a full-length skirt with a long, sweeping train in that signature Valentino red.

Florence finished off her look with dark red lipstick and nails while wearing her hair slicked back. She certainly made sure that her last red carpet moment of the year would be one we will remember!
