The cast of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones hit the red carpet for the show’s season 4 premiere on Tuesday (March 18), which was held at the Lincoln Center in New York. The ladies of Westeros set aside the family rivalry and glammed up for the event.
Who among these lovely ladies looked best?
Rose Leslie’s Ivory Dress
Rose Leslie walked the red carpet sans her man candy, Jon Snow, and chose an ivory-colored Antonio Berardi dress with a lace bodice and a silk asymmetrical skirt.
The natural redhead finished this feminine ensemble with soft side-swept curls and gold Jimmy Choo “Lance” sandals.

Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner
With all the sexified teenagers running around Hollywood these days, it’s refreshing to see Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner dress their age.

Sixteen-year-old Maisie wore a white Peter Jensen dress with a puffy skirt detailed with rosette appliques. Her yellow pumps added a bright pop of color to the look.
On the other hand, Eighteen-year-old Sophie opted for a patterned peplum dress from the Peter Pilotto Resort 2014 collection. The dress features geometric lines and layered panels. She styled the look with nude Louboutin pumps.

Carice van Houten’s Futuristic Dress
While most of her castmates opted for classic dresses, Carice chose a futuristic dress from the Christian Dior Spring 2014 collection.
The strapless metallic midi gown was styled with a bolt-studded blue metal belt and metallic blue Dior pumps to finish the futuristic ensemble.

While this look may not be for everyone, we commend the actress for her bold fashion choice. This is a challenging dress to wear with confidence!

Gwendoline Christie’s Sophisticated Dress
Gwendoline cleaned up pretty well on the red carpet, and we are impressed. The statuesque blonde, who plays the burly Brienne of Tarth in the show, laid down her armor and wore a sophisticated black-and-white number from the Giles Fall 2014 collection.

The satin dress is decorated with a black satin detail around the waist that drapes on the hip, making her look more attractive. She finished the ensemble with smokey eyes and black Louboutin pumps.

Lena Headey’s Dramatic Black Gown
The baddest Queen of Westeros, Lena Headey, wore a dramatic black gown from Jenny Packham’s Fall 2013 collection. The full-length organza dress was the perfect choice for this girl, sporting multiple inks on her arms and a messy bob.

Emilia Clarke’s Belted Handkerchief Dress
The Khaleesi left her baby dragons and graced the red carpet in a belted handkerchief dress from Donna Karan’s Fall 2014 collection. The flowy dress features a plunging halter neckline and an open back.

Emilia Clarke finished the look with vintage-style curls, Fred Leighton jewels, and sexy single-strap sandals. We loved this dress on the runway, but it didn’t translate well on the actress’ petite frame. It would have looked a lot better with a shorter hemline!
