In October 2019, the Girl Up #GirlHero Awards brought together a notable group of advocates and entertainers at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.
- 1. Cara Delevingne: White Pumps & Guy Laroche Cutout Denim
- 2. Jameela Jamil: Thigh-High Boots & Schoolgirl Tailoring
- 3. Ashley Benson: Jimmy Choo Pumps & Paris Georgia Separates
- 4. Julianne Hough: Stuart Weitzman Nudist Sandals & H&M Conscious
- 5. Ariel Winter: White Ankle-Strap Sandals & Pink Mini Skirt
Held in honor of the International Day of the Girl, the second annual luncheon recognized figures like Kate Hudson, Cara Delevingne, and Jameela Jamil for their contributions to gender equality and social change.

The afternoon served as a snapshot of late-2010s style, with attendees leaning into a mix of utilitarian denim, sharp tailoring, and classic footwear.
From avant-garde jumpsuits to timeless stiletto sandals, the red carpet reflected the diverse personal styles of the women being honored.
1. Cara Delevingne: White Pumps Sharpen a Cutout Guy Laroche Denim Jumpsuit
Not one to shy away from a fashion risk, Cara Delevingne put on a quirky display in a Guy Laroche Resort 2020 denim jumpsuit.

Cara’s bizarre choice undoubtedly turned heads, as it featured circular cutouts. The utilitarian one-piece number featured a front zipper pulled down just enough to show her braless look.

Cara looked beautiful with her shoulder-length tresses worn in a twisted half-up, half-down style. For her makeup, she sported silver eyeshadow, peachy blush, and lip shade.

Allowing her bold outfit to take center stage, Cara accessorized with silver hoop earrings and white pumps.

2. Jameela Jamil: Thigh-High Suede Boots Give Schoolgirl Tailoring a Darker Edge
Radio presenter Jameela Jamil was honored for her work with the body positivity movement and cut a chic figure in a more wearable look than Cara’s.
The activist opted for a schoolgirl-inspired look, wearing a black blazer with a matching tie, a white shirt underneath, and a thigh-skimming mini skirt.

She wore her long raven tresses down in luscious waves over her shoulders and sported red lipstick and dark eyeshadow.

She skipped jewelry entirely, letting sleek black suede thigh-high boots define the look, while a sculptural, glove-shaped bag added an intentionally oversized, fashion-forward edge.

3. Ashley Benson: Jimmy Choo Pumps Elevate a Leggy Paris Georgia Mini Skirt Look
Ashley Benson showed support for her then-girlfriend and “Her Smell” co-star, Cara. She made a leggy arrival in a tiny high-waist button-front skirt teamed with a black long-sleeved blouse that revealed a hint of cleavage.
Both pieces were from the contemporary ready-to-wear label, Paris Georgia.

The Pretty Little Liars alum had her shoulder-length brown hair down, styled in loose curls with a ribbon at the back, by Kylee Heath. Her makeup, done by Kira Nasrat, highlighted her eyes with smoky eyeshadow and finished off with nude blush and lipstick.

Ashley’s stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, selected several rings and a pair of black Jimmy Choo pumps to complete the look.

4. Julianne Hough: Stuart Weitzman Nudist Sandals Keep an All-Black H&M Conscious Look Classic
Julianne Hough was back in the spotlight to host the awards luncheon, just a few weeks after announcing the passing of her dogs, Lexi and Harley.
The dancer-actress strutted on the pink carpet in an all-black ensemble from H&M Conscious. It consisted of a frilly black top with a cleavage-baring V-cut neckline, tucked into a pair of high-waisted trousers.

Her short blonde locks were styled in subtle waves, while her makeup was beautifully applied with pink blush, lipstick, and eyeshadow.

Julianne kept jewelry to a minimum, wearing only a delicate necklace strung with her Cavalier King Charles spaniels’ dog tags, while the classic Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals subtly elevated her look with their signature barely-there, leg-lengthening silhouette.

5. Ariel Winter: White Ankle-Strap Sandals Brighten a Pink Mini Skirt and Embellished Blazer
Ariel Winter showed off her revenge body at the luncheon, following her split from her boyfriend of nearly three years, Levi Meaden.
The Modern Family star looked beautiful in a black blazer with bedazzled lapels, worn over a revealing, low-cut floral bustier top and a bubblegum-pink mini skirt.

She wore her raven locks in gorgeous waves over her shoulders and went for a pretty, feminine look with pink eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick to match her skirt.
To complete the stunning look, Ariel accessorized with a pair of earrings and several rings. She added a few inches to her height with a pair of white heels that matched her feathered white purse.

The actress wore these classic white sandals with contrasting blue soles and ankle straps.
