She dropped out of McGill University and became a full-time musician in the late 2000s, and has now released five studio albums, with a sixth one coming soon.

Although she isn’t a tech giant like her (former) partner Elon Musk, the two share a passion for sci-fi, techno, and otherworldly aesthetics.
Who Is Elon Musk?
Elon Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. He would spend his childhood and teen years in South Africa before moving to Canada for university. He’s the older brother of South African restaurateur Kimbal Reeve Musk.
However, after just two years he would transfer to the University of Pennsylvania to complete his degree in economics and physics.

Musk has had an entrepreneurial spirit since he was a child, and once he had the power to do so as an adult, was instrumental in creating the company that would go on to become PayPal.
Most notably, however, Elon Musk is the co-founder and CEO of the electric car company Tesla and even more recently, the rocket manufacturer SpaceX.
Grimes and Elon Musk’s Relationship
Grimes and Elon Musk first made their relationship public in May 2018 and have since welcomed two children together, a son born in May 2020 and a daughter born via surrogate in December 2021.

However, the pair’s relationship has been a bit of a rocky road. They have broken up and gotten back together several times, including both before and after the birth of their two children.
Despite their on-and-off-again status, Grimes and Elon Musk always seem to have a lot of love and respect for one another regardless of the official state of their relationship.
Their First Child
Grimes first revealed to the public that she was pregnant in January 2020, though she didn’t reveal that Elon Musk was the baby’s father until that March.
In May, Grimes gave birth to the couple’s first child, a son apparently named X Æ A-12 Musk. Given the confusing nature of his name, the couple has provided some direction regarding how X Æ A-12’s robotic-sounding name should be pronounced- though even they can’t seem to agree.

Grimes once responded to an Instagram comment saying: “It’s just X, like the letter X,” Grimes wrote. “Then A.I. Like how you said the letter A then I.”
On the other hand, Elon Musk told Joe Rogan: “It’s just X, the letter X. And then the Æ is, like, pronounced ‘ash,'” Musk told Rogan. “And then A-12 is my contribution … Archangel-12, the precursor to the SR-71, coolest plane ever.”

Either way, it seems that they simplify the name, and call their son “X” at home.
Elon Musk’s Other Children
Before he met Grimes, Elon Musk was married to Justine Wilson from 2000 to 2008, and the pair had six children together, five of whom are still here today.
Their first son, Nevada was born in 2002 and tragically passed away from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at just 10 weeks old.

After losing Nevada, Elon and Justine used IVF to birth their future children. In 2004, they welcomed twins Griffin and Xavier into the world, and in 2006, they welcomed triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian together.
All of Elon Musk’s children with Justine Wilson are now teenagers, making them far older than Musk’s children with Grimes. In total, Elon Musk has seven children.
Their New Baby
In March 2022, Grimes revealed to Vanity Fair that she and Elon Musk had another child together, a daughter who was born via surrogate in December 2021.
Although at the time of the interview Grimes described Elon Musk as her boyfriend, when it was released she later clarified that they are no longer a couple, but have a good co-parenting relationship.

Their daughter’s full name is Exa Dark Sideræl Musk (pronounced sidereel), though they’ve already taken to calling her Y.
There seems to be a bit of a theme going on since Exa (or Y’s) older brother is often called X. Who knows if Elon Musk and Grimes will try for Z one day…

In February 2013, Shenae Grimes was still young, but her relationship with Jason Beech was already very serious. The then 23-year-old actress was engaged to her British model boyfriend, and it looked like the two were super in love.
One month earlier, the two got matching tattoos behind their ears. Jason had “Shenae” tattooed behind his right ear.
Similarly, Shenae showed how ready she was to become Mrs. Beech by having her boyfriend’s last name inked behind her ear.
The passionate couple was in their own little world and kissed a whole lot when Jason visited the set of Shenae’s TV show, 90210.
