50 who? I don’t know about you, but I think Heidi Klum doesn’t age—or at least, she looks nothing like her actual age. She proved this again over the weekend at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party and the Elton John AIDS Foundation Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party, where she served looks and turned heads in two breathtaking ensembles.
Heidi was joined at the Oscar festivities by her rock star husband, Tom Kaulitz, who didn’t bother to change out of his all-black tuxedo suit. He wore it with a black button-up shirt, slim-fit pants, and embroidered loafers.

Mixing Extravagance With Elegance in Valdrin Sahiti
Known for her avant-garde taste in fashion, Heidi Klum dazzled everyone at West Hollywood Park in a dramatic gown by Albanian fashion designer Valdrin Sahiti, renowned for his luxurious, elaborate evening and wedding gowns.
Defying the legs-or-cleavage rule classily, Heidi put on a busty and leggy display in the gorgeous gown with an extravagant black bodysuit bodice and a bedazzled skirt.

The longtime AGT judge immediately captured my attention when she stepped onto the red carpet in her ornate Valdrin Sahiti gown. The bodysuit top has a risqué plunging neckline and a dramatic, structural shawl-like off-the-shoulder design encircling her shoulders.
The dress’s extravagance doesn’t end at the bodice. The lower half boasts a form-fitting floor-length mesh skirt adorned with shimmering beads, paillettes, and crystal embellishments. Enhancing the gown’s opulent design were the crystal and sequin-encrusted swirls around the hem.
Although quite revealing, I find something about Klum’s gown elegant; I think it’s the silhouette and two-tone black and silver combination, often associated with glamour and luxury. I also adore the way the exquisite gown enveloped her slender model figure.

Accessorizing to Perfection: Klum’s Expertly Curated Look
I love how Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn expertly balanced Heidi Klum’s accessories to ensure the focus on her gown. They kept her neck unadorned and styled her with statement diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.
A couple of gold rings decorated her manicured hands, which Kimmie Kyees designed with black and pink French tips.
The Alevi “Kiky” sandals completed Klum’s dazzling appearance. These shoes have thin black satin straps wrapped around the ankle and crystal baguette embellishments, complementing her dress theme. They also have 4.3-inch satin-covered stiletto heels and a unique pearl accessory on the outsole.

Although an elegant updo would have been an excellent choice to keep attention to the dress’ ostentatious bodice, I love how Lorenzo Martin styled Klum’s blonde hair in loose, bouncy curls; it added a timeless, refined touch to the ensemble.

Linda Hay, meanwhile, created Klum’s signature sultry makeup look. She highlighted her hazel eyes with smokey eyeshadow, a hint of glitter, eyeliner, and mascara, while pink blush and lipstick completed her stunning glam.

Gilded in Gold Cutout Harris Reed Dress
While I am enamored by Klum’s Elton John Oscar Viewing Party look, less can be said about her Vanity Fair Oscar Party outfit.
When I first saw her on the red carpet, I thought she looked like an Oscar statue, clad in a gold gown from Harris Reed’s Fall 2023 collection. Her gilded look didn’t impress me much, though.
The metallic dress draped her body like liquid gold metal, with multiple cutouts across the front, allowing her to showcase her flat abs. Adding to the sultriness of the silhouette were the large cutout on the left hip and the dangerously high slit on the right.

While this look doesn’t align with my fashion taste, I adore Klum’s confidence and how she never lets any criticism stop her from wearing what she wants—no matter how peculiar it may be.
In keeping with her look’s color theme, styling duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn accessorized Klum’s ensemble with gold accessories. Among them are a pair of hefty dangling earrings with large stones, black beads, and gold stars. I cannot imagine the discomfort those earrings might have caused her.
In addition, the Sunglasses at Night singer wore some pretty huge rings handcrafted by Dinosaur Designs, an Australian-based label known for its handmade resin accessories.
She carried a gold Jimmy Choo clutch and rounded out her gilded Oscar party look with gold Giuseppe Zanotti “Sophie” sandals. These metallic shoes are characterized by buckled slingback straps, toe straps, and towering 4.7-inch stiletto heels.

I like Klum’s look because of her glam, which perfectly matched her liquid metallic gown.
Lorenzo Martin slicked her hair back into wet-look waves while Linda Hay applied layers of mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow. She then finished her sultry beauty look with light blush and nude lipstick.
