She is a first-time mom-to-be and she’s navigating pregnancy during a global pandemic. While pregnancy could be a stressful time, let alone during this time of COVID-19, Katherine Schwarzenegger said she’s been doing “really well” amid the health crisis.

In an Instagram Live conversation with her friend, Dr. Zelana Montminy, in June, Katherine expressed her gratitude to her family and her husband, Chris Pratt, whom she first met at a church.

“I’m really lucky to be living in very close proximity to my family, which has been very helpful. And then, obviously, I have a wonderful husband who’s very, it’s been amazing having him home and also very understanding about my need to sanitize everything, have everyone wear masks all the time. That’s been helpful.”

“Also, having people like you who I text constantly about everything baby because I’m learning it as I go and it’s been an interesting time to be pregnant,” she added.

The 30-year-old author has been staying fit since revealing her pregnancy in April. And on Tuesday, she was spotted going for a solo walk around her Brentwood neighborhood.

The “Maverick and Me” author looked like she’s about to give birth anytime soon as she showed off her burgeoning baby bump in tight-fitting maternity leggings paired with a gray tee.

Katherine styled her athleisure look with a black “There Is No Magic Pill Hat” baseball cap, a pair of black sunglasses, a bracelet, and a watch.

Taking some safety and health precautions, Katherine wore a tie-dye face mask by Stoney Clover.

The American author has also been encouraging her social media followers to wear masks to prevent the spread of coronavirus and even gave them a list of her favorite masks on Instagram.

For her casual walk, the eldest daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver opted for a pair of Hoka One One “Torrent 2” trail shoes.

These shoes feature an engineered mesh construction with recycled polyester for breathability. They also have Profly midsoles with EVA top for a cushioned landing and propulsive toe-off, lightly padded tongues and collars, and marbled rubber outsoles with multi-directional rubber lugs for traction and support.

Hoka One One was founded by former Salomon employees Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard in 2009. Four years later, in 2013, Hoka was purchased by Deckers Brands, which is the parent company for UGG, Teva, Sanuk, and Koolaburra.

Since the acquisition, Hoka has seen growth in sales and has gained several celebrity fans, including Katherine Schwarzenegger, Reese Witherspoon, and more.
