A huge star-studded crowd gathered at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood a couple of days ago to honor Jane Fonda with the American Film Institute Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 76-year-old actress and fitness guru looked stunning, choosing to receive her award in a black-and-white custom gown by Vera Wang. She was joined by her children, filmmaker Vanessa Vadim, actor Troy Garity, his wife, actress Simone Bent, and her brother, Peter Fonda.
Big stars, including Fonda’s friends, such as Michael Douglas, Meryl Streep, and Sally Field, were also at the event.

Jane Fonda’s impressive dress features a low-scoop black top with sheer long sleeves and a white pleated mermaid skirt with a short train.

To complete the elegant look, Fonda accessorized with a dazzling diamond necklace, a matching bracelet, and a simple black envelope clutch.

Jane Fonda is the 42nd recipient of the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award. Her father, Henry Fonda, was the sixth to receive the same honor in 1978.
