She once again pulled existing pieces from her closet to demonstrate exactly how to pull off something sparkly during the day.

Kate’s pièce de résistance was her seen-before pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ pumps that still sparkled so fiercely despite the overcast skies in London that afternoon.
To tone down all the shine from her shoes and make them more apropos for the day, she wore them with her also-seen-before Barbara Casasola ‘Tribal’ off-shoulder midi dress in a soft knit texture and a muted cream color.

Kate’s key to wearing glitter during the day is to contrast it. She further did that by wearing her brown tresses in her signature bouncy waves.
The Duchess of Cambridge kept her jewelry to a minimum and wore only her famous blue sapphire engagement ring.

Kate’s first outing of her Jimmy Choo glitter pumps was at the 2019 BAFTAs in February. As it was a nighttime event, Kate went all out with the glitter and piled on some serious bling.
The Duchess wore her own sapphire engagement ring, the Queen’s diamond quatrefoil bracelet, plus Princess Diana’s very own pearl drop earrings. She carried a white-satin clutch and wore a bridal-white one-shoulder gown, both bespoke pieces from Alexander McQueen.
