The ever-chic supermodel Karlie Kloss kept things playful on the red carpet of the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards held Monday at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

The Rosie Assoulin dress, although it beautifully reflected the youthful charm of the 23-year-old, appeared slightly too informal for a high-profile fashion award ceremony.

Karlie’s frock featured a ruffled bib and cutout details at the front and back.
She looked gorgeous, as usual, but we weren’t fans of the apron-inspired A-line frock.

Karlie recently replaced fellow Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr as the face of Swarovski.
As the luxury crystal brand’s newest ambassador, she glammed up her look with Swarovski jewels. She even slipped into a pair of pink pumps covered entirely with Swarovski crystals.
The 6’2” model wore her hair up into a high bun with face-framing wisps. She sported minimal makeup, with a hint of blush and a swipe of pink lipstick.

Karlie wore a pair of Stuart Weitzman’s “Queen” pumps.

Traditionally, the shoes feature a classic silhouette with pointed toes and about 4.3-inch heels.

However, Karlie sported a pair custom-made with sparkling pink crystals. While they’re unavailable online, you can find other colors at Shopbop and Zappos.
